The Story of Calvary Baptist Church

Calvary Baptist Church was organized in 1950 to provide a place on instruction, fellowship and service to carry out the great commission, proclaiming the Gospel to all.

Some of the fields of service we have been involved in include Vacation Bible School, Adventure Club, Awana, Women’s Mission Circle, Meals on Wheels, Long Term Care and Plaza services, Jr. High and High School youth groups, various bible studies and many other individual and group activities.

Our current pastor, Dr. Geoffrey Plummer, came to Cambridge in 2021 from Jacksonville, Florida. Pastor Plummer and his wife, Katherine, continue to serve the church.
